35 Chinese immigrants each pay about $100-$200 a month to stay in a loft divided into tiny, ceiling-less cubicles at the 81 Bowery tenement. Photographer Annie Ling documented the lives of 81 Bowery’s residents and families, some of who have lived there for decades.
